Welcome to the Swiss Register of Testaments

The Swiss register of testaments, which is run by the Swiss notary association (SNV - FSN), contains information concerning inheritance related papers as well as handwritten wills, which have been anounced and are stored by Swiss notaries and lawyers or Swiss authorities.

Please note that the announcement of a testamentary disposition is not compulsory in all Swiss cantons.

Upon request the register of testaments provides information concerning the depository of registered dispositions. As a result the last will of a deceased person can possibly be located and reconstructed.
